From the moment Black Panther entered the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the world of Wakanda became a rich location for storytelling and mythology. It also was clear that Black Panther and Wakanda would remain key pieces of the MCU's future, so audiences were shocked to see T'Challa become one of Thanos' snap victims in Avengers: Infinity War.
