In a recent interview with Associated Press, Peele was asked about possibly making a sequel to Get Out. While Peele acknowledged that he frequently gets asked that question, he hinted that there could be one coming. Peele's answer was brief, but it was direct regarding a Get Out sequel. «I do get asked that a lot. Never say never. There’s certainly a lot to talk about left. We’ll see.» Peele's films are mostly horror, but they are usually a commentary on societal issues. Peele was also asked about how he feels about the mark he's made on cinema in his own way. Peele didn't mince words. «I feel like I’m off to the races. I just don’t know if I could limit how many films I have that are me. I’m starting to lose sight of what I would be doing if I wasn’t doing movies like this. So I would say the project has extended.»
Even though many would love to see a follow-up to Get Out, we have to remember that Peele has earned the right to go at his own pace. Making a sequel to such a well-renowned movie like Get Out just for the sake of making one could potentially go awry and even ruin what the first movie was going for.
