Few of the creatures in Digimon Survive are as well-designed as Deltamon. The Composition Digimon looks absolutely fantastic, with its intimidating appearance making it very clear to onlookers that this is not a Digimon to be trifled with. It's not all about appearance though, with the Deltamon's attacks hitting just as hard as its wonderful design.
Digimon Survive: How to Befriend Angemon
With this in mind, Digimon Survive players who are looking for a solid attack-minded Digimon could do a lot worse than Deltamon. Granted, much better options will become available towards the end of the main story, but for the first half at least, Deltamon is a more than capable fighter and a solid addition to most teams.
In order to recruit Deltamon, players will need to follow the general rules for befriending Digimon in Digimon Survive. This means engaging it in conversation and then responding to its questions and statements using one of the options given. Choosing the best response will fill up two segments of the bar above the Digimon's head, with players needing to have filled the bar by at least 50% by the time the conversation ends in order to have a chance of becoming friends.
To say that Deltamon isn't the brightest bulb in the box would perhaps be a bit of an understatement. Like Meramon, the Composition Digimon is about as dense as a block of concrete, and players should treat it as such during their conversation. Sarcastic responses work best, though players should be sure not to show any signs of weakness either. For those still having trouble, the best responses to Deltamon's questions and statements can be found in the table below.
Deltamon can first be encountered during Part 3 and will show up at the Free Battle area
