Unfortunately, Digimon Survive players will need to wait a little while before being able to befriend Ikkakumon, with the Champion level Digimon not showing up until the seventh part of the game. They'll also need to figure out the best responses to Ikkakumon's questions and statements, some of which can be a little difficult to predict.

In order to befriend Ikkakumon, players will first have to start a conversation with it by selecting the Talk option while in battle. They'll then need to answer three of its questions, with the way that they respond to each one either filling or emptying the bar above its head. If players choose the best possible response to a question or statement, two segments of the bar will be filled, with three or more needed by the end of the conversation for a chance to ask the Digimon to become friends.

Ikkakumon responds best to players who empathize with it. Showing that they have similar opinions is therefore a great way for players to fill the bar above its head, as too is showering it with compliments. That's not to say that they should roll over completely though, with Ikkakumon also respecting those with confidence in their abilities.
