Digimon Survive offers plenty of variety when it comes to the many different Digimon that players can befriend. Each one is slightly different, both in terms of design and personality, though the method for befriending them remains largely the same. As is often the case though, there are one or two big exceptions to this, the first of which being Numemon.

Usually, the process of making new friends in Digimon Survive involves having a conversation and choosing the best replies. Due to Numemon being unable to speak, however, players will instead need to find another way to communicate with him. This means that those hoping to befriend Numemon will therefore need to study his actions and respond accordingly.
Although players will be responding with actions rather than words, the fundamentals of befriending Numemon remain largely unchanged. Upon talking with the Digimon, players will need to respond to three different actions, with two points being awarded for the best possible response. If players are able to score three points during the conversation, they'll be able to ask the Digimon to become friends once it ends.
Though Numemon may seem hostile at times, a lot of this is actually just curiosity, as he is fascinated by humans and their strange mannerisms. He also enjoys eating and, like most other Digimon in Digimon Survive, is not a fan of sudden movements or loud noises. Players should keep all this in mind when selecting their responses, or, alternatively, refer to the table below to find the best responses to all seven of Numemon's possible actions.
