AnElden Ring ad appeared during the lead-up to a February 12 fight between Israel Adesanya and Robert Whitaker, and Adesanya recently appeared in a new live-action advertisement for the game.
In the trailer, the New Zealand-native Adesanya offers words of encouragement, fortifying those enduring the notoriously difficult title. Intercut with high-octane segments of gameplay, it works as an interesting, strangely motivational exploration of The Lands Between. The final segment of the roughly minute-long advertisement shows the game’s logo emblazoned over the fighter’s right eye, a potential callback to the bleeding eye of Godwyn shown in an earlier Elden Ring trailer.
