In the time since Elden Ring released, the game’s community has made many real life tributes to it. While these include custom statues and item replicas, one Elden Ring player went out of their way to recreate the Tarnished they played as.
Though Elden Ring’s character creator allows players to make their Tarnished look exactly like them if they wish to do so, FromSoftware’s latest release also offers a number of different armor types and pieces of headwear to choose from. While remaking some of this gear in real life surely took some effort, Reddit user RealCaptainSteel was clearly up to the challenge. They made and wore their own Jar helmet, with the piece being sewn together.

Seeing an image of this threaded Jar helm would have been fun enough on its own, but RealCaptainSteel went above and beyond by making a full video featuring the costume. In the clip, the rest of the outfit can be seen, which includes a grey robe and a fancy cloak. Some dark pants are also worn, with everything servicing the overall aesthetic and making the detailed Jar helmet look even better. While the attire is worthy of praise, though, so too is the editing in the player’s video.
The entertaining Elden Ring clip sees the Redditor activating a Site of Grace, with the discovery message appearing on-screen as soon as they move their hand in front of it. Much like this costume, the Site is obviously homemade, with a yellow light surrounded by some pieces of gold and gray paper. Alongside of this Site of Grace discovery, the gamer breaks multiple pieces of furniture, with a chair and cat tree being taken down during the clip.
