However, some players may argue they have put an unhealthy amount of time into some games, and one Elden Ring player appears to admit that by sharing their incredibly high playtime across two characters.
Elden Ring is the latest game from developer From Software following in the gameplay style of previous titles like Demon's Souls and Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. The game is set in the mysterious Lands Between where players take on the role of a Tarnished, an exiled warrior traversing the Lands Between in hopes of reforging the titular ring to become the new Elden Lord. Standing in their way are the demigod lords of the Lands Between, each wielding a piece of the shattered ring, along with other powerful warriors and monsters roaming this dangerous world.

Given the higher difficulty of From Software's games, it is normal for players to sink a good amount of time in games like Elden Ring or Bloodborne due to exploration and difficult boss battles.
