Reddit user ragingalphax recently posted a video to the Elden Ring subbreddit that shows a character facing off against a boss they should have encountered long before. These Elden Ring bosses, which should be difficult, suddenly become much easier. To those who don't play From Software games, that might seem like a good thing. But players enjoy the challenges presented by titles like Elden Ring, and taking that away creates hollow gameplay.

Indeed, the clip posted by ragingalphax shows a powerful foe losing a third of its health in one attack. Granted, the enemy is not a fully-fledged boss. The principle of the video still stands, however. If players reach strong opponents too late, they will effectively eliminate a lot of challenging gameplay. And many players, as demonstrated by the Elden Ring clip above, don't like to fight enemies in-game when the
