Activision's Call of Duty: Warzone continues to be a massively popular title and is set to continue that trend later this year when the highly anticipated Warzone 2 arrives. However, for all of its successes, the free to play battle royale hasn't always had a smooth ride thank in large parts to a cheating and hacking problem as well as a multitude of bugs and glitches. While the hacking epidemic has been largely contained thanks to the anti-cheat program Ricochet, bugs and glitches occasional continue to interfere with matches.
As detailed by developer Raven Software, Season 5 introduced a lot of changes to the Caldera map inside of Warzone. Outside of the visual changes including an active volcano spewing molten lava and flaming rocks onto the map, one of the biggest changes would be made to the lighting system behind the scenes. Witht he island storm now cleared up, Raven intended for the sunlight to be a bit more vibrant as it peeks through the lush jungle and billowing smoke from the now active volcano.

Unfortunately, it seems that many Call of Duty: Warzone players feel as though the lighting has been increased too much as the sun glare has proven to be too intense. In fact, the glare is so intense in some locations that many believe the original Warzone visual glitch from 2021 has returned once again. Many players have taken to social media, including the Warzone subReddit, to not only post screenshots of the issues, but decry the recent lighting changes.
