Today however, we celebrate another community legend. One that uses brain over brawn, and has revealed some of the biggest secrets in FromSoftware's games since Dark Souls 2. If you've recently come across news about cut content or hidden details in Elden Ring, it was most probably datamined by none other than Zullie the Witch.
On the occasion of reaching 500,000 subscribers on their YouTube channel, Zullie decided to publish a special video detailing how she got her name and what inspired her to get into datamining.

"Zullie started off in Dark Souls 2 as a character that only existed in item descriptions, never appearing in person," she said via the video. "Her story centers on Alva the Wayfarer, a questing knight seeking to cure the unknown sickness of [the] saint named Serreta. Zullie initially opposed Alva in his quest, but ultimately this backfired and she instead joined him in support. Even without her sabotage, Alva still failed in his quest, but with Zullie beside him, he found a new purpose in life."
She went on to explain that themed PvP events, an old Dark Souls 2 tradition, eventually led to her adopting the name Zullie the Witch. Cosplay was also part of this "Fight Club", and a lot of people in the community decided to go as Alva – this prompted the dataminer to finally bring Zullie the Witch to life for the first time.
