The VR boxing game based on the movie franchise, Creed: Rise to Glory, is set to receive new content and Quest 3 support. Survios, in collaboration with Amazon MGM Studios, releases “Sweet Science” update for the game that also includes new improvements and features to propel the boxing game with the latest hardware releases. This also includes experimental features with the Quest 3 as the game can be played with no controllers. This means throwing punches, blocking and navigating menus with natural hand movements and no need to “re-glove”. Players can expect performance boosts with the new hardware and also a boost for the Quest 2.
The “Sweet Science” update is more focused on the content that is being added to the game, as not only the Quest versions of the game will receive this, but also the PlayStation version. From Rocky V, Tommy “The Machine” Gunn will now be an available fighter in the game. Known for raw power and brazenness, Gunn will be a true test for fighters. There will also be fitness updates, as this is also a key aspect with Creed: Rise to Glory. Players can now set and achieve personal calorie burn goals. A refined UI allowed for improved fitness tracking and the ability to select timed or calorie mode tracking for personal preference will help to better the fitness aspect of the game. The calorie tracking algorithm has also been improved.
“Every update we introduce is designed to enhance the immersion and precision of our VR experience,” said TQ Jefferson, Chief Product Officer at Survios. “With the ‘Sweet Science’ update, we are excited for players to dive even deeper into the world of the Rocky franchise and experience boxing in a way they’ve never done before.”
