"A Beautiful Celebration" - Disney Lorcana: D100 Collector's Edition Set Review
may be relatively new, but Walt Disney Animation Studios has been around for a century, and to celebrate, the popular TCG has released a special D100 Collector's Edition set. The Collector's Edition box comes stamped with the Disney 100 logo, and features dazzling artwork from the studio on its six special edition cards, making it a great gift set for players and Disney fans alike.
Of course, this set has been released alongside , which means the D100 Collector's Edition also includes four booster packs from the latest expansion. While the cards inside each booster pack are random, the six foil cards that make up the D100 set are always the same — Mickey Mouse, Elsa, Genie, Stitch, Maleficent, and Maui. Plus, everything comes wrapped in a nice foil box that's as reflective as the cards inside.
The for is a fairly simple gift set. The cardboard box features details about Walt Disney Animation Studios on its back, along with facts about each artist and their D100 card. Inside, the six foil cards come wrapped together, and they're placed inside the same cardboard compartment as the four booster packs. Everything inside arrived in great condition.
Each booster pack contains 12 cards, and despite not getting any big pulls out of these, I still managed to get quite a few cards I was missing. For anyone counting, that means 48 cards here, in addition to the six foils, making for a total of 54. That may not seem like much for $49.99, but as a collector's item, the D100 box set seems well worth it. And while the four booster packs are a nice bonus, the real treasure here are the six special edition foil cards.
