Iman Vellani's comic fandom saw the Ms. Marvel star strive for an adorable Marvel crossover in the form of a Lockjaw cameo. Created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, Lockjaw made his Marvel Comics debut with 1965's Fantastic Four No. 45, which saw the superhero family face off with the Inhumans. Lockjaw is a giant bulldog with a number of abilities, including teleportation, precognition and super-strength in his jaw.
Ms. Marvel marks the Marvel Cinematic Universe debut of Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan, a Pakistani-American teenager living in Jersey City obsessed with superheroes, namely Captain Marvel. When Kamala comes in possession of a magical bangle granting her the ability to harness cosmic energy, she struggles to figure out how to become the hero that her hometown needs. Vellani's MCU future is already in motion as she is set to star in The Marvels alongside Brie Larson and Teyonah Parris, but the Ms. Marvel star has one major hope for who to interact with in the franchise.

While speaking with The Wrap for the MCU series, Ms. Marvel star Iman Vellani reveals she fought for Lockjaw to appear in some form. The young actress confirmed she lost the fight to Marvel but isn't giving up hope to share the screen with the Inhuman character. See what Vellani said below:
“Lockjaw. I love Lockjaw. That relationship is adorable. I wanted a Lockjaw easter egg. I did not succeed. But it’ll happen. Season two? Who knows?”
