Fresh on the heels of its acclaimed first season, the trailer for FX's Reservation DogsSeason 2 has been revealed. The show follows a teenage gang in rural Oklahoma who call themselves the Reservation Dogs. In the wake of their best friend's death, they resort to a habit of petty crime to carry out his dream of reestablishing the group in California. The effort to secure the money for their trip finds the group hijacking a potato chip truck and negotiating with meth heads, among a slew of other whacky pursuits. Behind the scenes, the dramedy series features a nearly all-Indigenous American cast and a team of entirely Indigenous writers and directors.
A trailer for Reservation Dogs season 2 (via FX) picks up right where the first season left off. Elora (Devery Jacobs) is finally driving to California with Jackie (Elva Guerra), the only one willing to make the trip with her. At the same time, the other Reservation Dogs grapple with life back on the reservation. Will & Grace star Megan Mullally makes an appearance in the teaser as a woman Elora encounters on the road. After Elora confirms she is running away from home, Mullally's character replies, "Damn, I'm jealous."

The trailer indicates that Reservation Dogs season 2 will continue to capitalize on the spiky humor and offbeat wackiness that made the first seasona breakout success. However, the humor is balanced with plenty of genuine emotion.
