A major spoiler about Patrick Mendes and Thaís Ramone’s 90 Day Fiancé season 9 storyline has been leaked. 32-year-old Patrick from Austin, Texas was in Brazil to meet his father when he came across 25-year-old Thaís on a dating app. The former weightlifter couldn’t believe his eyes when he saw Thaís in person. Divorcée Patrick felt like Thaís showed him affection that he had never found in any other woman—including his ex-wife. He kept booking trip after trip to go meet Thaís and eleven months later, the TLC couple was engaged with the model moving to America on her K-1 visa on 90 Day Fiancé season 9.
What Patrick and Thaís didn’t expect in their journey on 90 Day Fiancé were the many obstacles that came in their way to the aisle. Thaís joined Patrick and his brother John in their Austin home, which made her uncomfortable. Thaís didn’t trust Patrick either because he had cheated on her with another woman while they were still together. Thaís was tracking Patrick’s phone to keep tabs on him, and in a different argument, he refused to tell his future wife how much he earned. The skeleton in Thaís’ closet was that she hadn't told her father back in Brazil that she was in the U.S. to get married to Patrick. Meanwhile, she was also feeling homesick for Brazil and was unsure if she wanted to marry Patrick at all.
