Thaís Ramone told 90 Day Fiancé fans about what job Patrick Mendes does for a living after his weightlifting career ended. The 31-year-old is an American-Brazilian weightlifter. He started Olympic weightlifting back in 2008 when Patrick was recruited by his high school coach John Broz. Patrick was committed to his skill and spent most of his time training in a small 500 square foot gym. However, Patrick’s weightlifting career suffered a huge setback when he tested positive for the banned Human Growth Hormone drug. On 90 Day Fiancé, Patrick, who’s originally from Las Vegas, revealed that after his career was over, he moved to Texas and started working in sales. He revealed he was selling home security door to door and managing sales teams throughout Texas. His brother John works alongside him at the company. Patrick sells the alarms, and John installs them.
