Marvel Studios President, Kevin Feige, was mad at Ms. Marvel star Iman Vellani for watching WandaVision wrong. Vellani stars as Kamala Khan, the titular superhero the MCU's latest Disney+ series. The show centers on the Jersey City high school student who is imbued with cosmic powers through a special bangle that once belonged to her grandmother. Like her character, Vellani is a self-professed super-fan of Marvel's pantheon of heroes and has consumed everything the MCU has to offer.
As a young child, when the films were first released, the actor grew up watching the growing list of the MCU's serialized movies and television series, developing a deep knowledge and love of the material. The actor recently engaged in a playful debate with Feige over the official designation of the MCU due to contradictory information presented by the studio in the past and through its recent spate of films. However, she recently angered the Marvel Studios head over how she watched WandaVision.

Ms. Marvel star Saagar Shaikh, who plays Kamala's older brother Aamir, recently shared (via Marvel) a story about how Feige was distressed over how Vellani was watching WandaVision. The Elizabeth Olsen-led series began airing while Ms. Marvel started shooting season 1. As the loyal fan Vellani is, the actor attempted to stay abreast of the new show when she could, forcing her to watch on her tablet or phone.
