Ms. Marvel star Iman Vellani promised MCU boss Kevin Feige that she wouldn't be another Tom Holland. Marvel Studios' newest recruit plays Kamala Khan, an Avengers-obsessed teenager from Jersey City who gets her own superheroes. Like her character, Vellani is well-versed in the goings-on of the MCU, making it easy to play a superfan on-screen.
Vellani has been doing the rounds to promote Ms. Marvel, which already premiered this week. Throughout her promotional stint, the young actor has opened up about her journey thus far as part of the MCU, including her incredible story about how she auditioned for and ultimately got the role of Kamala Khan. Throughout her interviews, Vellani has also talked about some of the interactions she has had with her fellow MCU stars Brie Larson, Tom Hiddleston, and Holland, who she has promised she won't be copying in one specific respect.

Dropping by The Daily Show with Trevor Noah, Vellani shares some of the fun experiences she has had since being cast in Ms. Marvel. When the host asked for any big secret from the show, the actor's lips were sealed, something Noah admits Disney had warned him would be the case. Vellani then reveals she promised Feige she wouldn't be another Holland, referencing the Spider-Man star's tendency to accidentally let spoilers fly in interviews. Check out her quote below:
