Looks like audiences still haven't had enough of Spider-Man: No Way Home. The insanely successful film that launched a thousand fanfics is gearing up for another run in the theaters. But this time, it's bringing some more fun stuff.
Fittingly, that's also the name the upcoming rerelease has received. Spider-Man: No Way Home: The More Fun Stuff Version will return to theaters in just a few short months, and odds are it'll be packed with plenty of new content to keep things fresh even for those dedicated fans whose viewing numbers may have reached the double digits. Announced in a short but very sweet video featuring the 3 biggest stars of the film, the new cut of the film looks like it'll be exactly the kind of fun escapism that everybody needs right now.
Across The Spider-Verse: A Look At Marvel's 2099
The movie's official Twitter account made the announcement, heralding the occasion with a short appearance from Tom Holland, Tobey Maguire, and Andrew Garfield being their charming selves. Putting on an «I'm Spider-Man» «No, I'm Spider-Man» bit that they're surely not tired of by now, the trio doesn't mince words before a clip from the movie plays to slyly tie into the new version. «We should do this again,» Garfield's Spider-Man says, before Maguire's Spider-Man replies, «you got it,» with a chuckle. It all comes to a head with a reveal of the «new» title and the release date. Naturally, it all closes out with the «pointing Spider-Man» meme featuring Garfield, Holland, and Maguire. Why not?
Frankly, it makes perfect sense that this would happen. Given the nature of Spider-Man: No Way Home and the presence of so many big nostalgic moments, it would be more shocking to find out that there weren't any substantial deleted scenes.
