A new Spider-Man: No Way Home VFX video reveals cut scenes with Tom Holland, Tobey Maguire, and Andrew Garfield. The 2021 Jon Watts-directed film marked the end of MCU's Spider-Man personal trilogy. Spider-Man: No Way Home became a massive commercial success, proving the enduring popularity of the web-slinging hero.
Following a brief impasse between Marvel Studios and Sony, Spider-Man: No Way Home almost didn't happen. Holland's Peter Parker was going to be pulled out of the MCU, with Spider-Man: Far From Home functioning as his final outing in the franchise. Fortunately, the companies were able to iron out a new deal and from it came their most ambitious collaboration yet. Aside from Holland's wall-crawler, Maguire and Garfield return in No Way Home as their respective versions of the hero, with all three united against multiversal villains threatening MCU's main Earth. With their collaboration arguably the film's biggest highlight, it turns out there were other parts of their union that didn't make it into the final movie.
