Ms. Marvel has finally been released on Disney Plus and the formation of the Young Avengers is coming closer to reality than ever before. Star Iman Vellani discussed a little about playing Kamala Khan while speaking with Jimmy Fallon.
Ms. Marvel follows Kamala Khan, who becomes the titular hero after discovering her superpowers. Khan is a big fan of the Avengers and superheroes of her world. Knowing that she herself one day wants to be one of her idols, the young hero already starts out with a kind heart.Ms. Marvel does a great job of establishing Kamala Khan's life before she discovers her powers.

While on the Tonight Show, Vellani went on to comment about how playing Ms. Marvel was the actress' very first acting gig right out of high school. Fallon went on to ask how she landed the role. «My Aunt forwarded me a WhatsApp of the casting call. Super sketchy!» the actress stated. «I don't know what casting calls look like, but I'm like, obsessed with Marvel. Obsessed with Ms. Marvel. Read all of the comics in High School...I sent in a very academic resume, and the only headshot I had… and I sent in my self-tape at like 3 am… and the next day, I get a call.»
Vellani went on to reveal one of the best perks to come with being a part of the MCU. «I know secrets! I know secrets! Well, I'd like to think that I know secrets. I don't know how much they're, like, humoring me? But I think I know secrets...It's like power, you know? For some people it's like money and fame. For me, it's like MCU secrets,» she said. Vellani's experience is a dream come true for many people, so it's heartwarming to see it realized for somebody who also really is passionate about the Marvel
