The Ms. Marvel episode 1 post-credits feature the return of a surprising antagonist from Spider-Man: No Way Home. Kamala Khan made her debut in 2013, and became one of the most important Marvel Comics superheroes to be introduced in the last decade. Marvel's first Muslim American superhero to star in her own title, she ushered in a wave of new legacy superheroes. Ms. Marvel has finally become part of the MCU, played by newcomer Iman Vellani.
Ms. Marvel episode 1 is the beginning of Kamala Khan's MCU origin story, one that's been switched up significantly from the comics. Kamala Khan is an ordinary teenager in Jersey City, a girl who's fallen in love with the superheroes who saved the world in Avengers: Endgame — and who gains powers of her own when she places a mysterious bracelet upon her wrist. Unfortunately, Kamala's first flare of power goes catastrophically wrong, when flares of cosmic energy are blasted across the stage of AvengerCon. Ms. Marvel episode 1's post-credits scene reveals her actions have been noticed.

The Ms. Marvel episode 1 post-credits scene features the return of an agent from the Department of Damage Control, Special Agent P. Clearly. He previously appeared in Spider-Man: No Way Home, where he played a key role in investigating Peter Parker after Spider-Man's secret identity was revealed to the world by Mysterio. The character is played by Arian Moayed, and he was a shrewd investigator who figured out how to trick Ned Leeds into giving away his involvement in Spider-Man's vigilantism.
