Warning! Spoilers ahead for Moon Knight episode 3.
While Moon Knight is largely a self-contained story within the MCU, a new power displayed by Marc Spector and his god Khonshu seems to create a plot hole when it comes to the Avengers. In Moon Knight episode 3, the scarab compass leading to Ammit's secret tomb is reclaimed by Arthur Harrow and his forces. Desperate and short on options, Khonshu summons the Egyptian pantheon known as the Ennead, despite the fact that he had been banished for refusing to abandon humanity and simply observe as the other gods had. However, in order to get their attention, Khonshu moves the moon in front of the sun, creating an unexpected eclipse to provide his fellows gods with a "signal they can't ignore."
Failing to convince the other gods of Harrow's plans, Moon Knight and Khonshu's next move is to locate the sarcophagus of Senfu, a medjay who had been tasked with recording the location of Ammit's tomb on the gods' behalf. While they found Senfu's map using the stars along with Marc's wife, Layla, Marc's alternate identity, Steven Grant, reveals that the map is useless, as the stars have shifted over the last 2,000 years since the location was recorded. However, Khonshu is able to shift the entire night sky back to that same night. With Steven's help, this incredible power is witnessed by everyone in Cairo and likely the entire world.
