This article contains spoilers for episode 3 of Moon Knight.After traveling to Egypt in order to prevent the resurrection of Ammit, the latest Moon Knight episode focuses more on Marc Spector and the relationships he has with those around him. In a failed attempt to convince the other gods to side with Khonshu’s plight, Marc, Steven, and Layla are now on their own against Arthur Harrow and his cult, putting the heroes in a difficult position at the halfway point of the series.
Although Steven and Marc are beginning to figure out how they can work together, they’ve still got a long way to go before they can take down the larger-than-life forces threatening to destroy life as they know it. With only three episodes left, Moon Knight continues to take fans on a journey like no other, as the series explores uncharted territory in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Moon Knight Episode 2 Easter Eggs
Although Moon Knight has kept itself pretty distanced from the rest of the MCU thus far, the series has now made two references to the events of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. In episode 3, it's revealed that Layla has been to Madripoor, the same place where Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes met up with Sharon Carter, where she set up her roots as the Power Broker.
Although the project is still pretty far away, Captain America 4 is in the works at Marvel Studios, so Moon Knight could be preparing fans for something bigger in the future. Although Steven and Marc are dealing with some pretty massive otherworldly forces, their story is still grounded on Earth at this point in time, just like Sam and Bucky. A collaboration between the new Cap, reformed Hydra agent, and ex-mercenary/gift shop owner would make for an interesting story in Captain
