Warning: SPOILERS for Moon Knight episode 3
The introduction of the Egyptian gods in episode three of Moon Knight could lead to an Avengers: Endgame-topping war if Galactus were to attack. The Disney+ series has thus far introduced seven new gods into the MCU, with the focus being on Khonshu and Ammit and their respective avatars, Mark Spector/Steven Grant and Arthur Harrow. The season 1 finale of Loki introduced He Who Remains – an alias of Kang the Conqueror – and the expansion of the multiverse suggests that he may move into the franchise’s chief antagonist role following Thanos. However, despite Kang's arrival, many viewers believe that the MCU is also gearing up to introduce Galactus as a future main villain. First portrayed as nothing but a large cloud in 2007’s Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer, the iconic Marvel antagonist is yet to be properly introduced in the MCU, though the key role of the Celestials in Eternals increases the probability of Galactus’ return.
