The internet has been poring over Moon Knight's every frame since it premiered, in no small part thanks to Oscar Isaac's layered performance as the titular character and his alters. The latest entry into the MCU television is now streaming on Disney+, having aired four of its six episodes and leaving Isaac's Steven Grant in a precarious position last week.
Screen Rant spoke to Isaac and his costar May Calamawy, who plays the mysterious and capable Layla El-Faouly, about what's in store for the final two episodes and where they might go next in the vast expanse of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Screen Rant: It is so impressive, Oscar, watching you shift between Stephen and Marc. But one of my favorite moments of episode 4 is just you punching yourself in the face. Can you walk me through that?
Oscar Isaac: Yeah, that was [laughs]. My brother and I, there's this meme that we think is really, really funny. It's this English kid that's got a tie on his head. He's rapping, and then just a punch comes out of nowhere and punches him, and he goes, «Oh, f***, I can't believe you've done this!» A lot of people know what I'm talking about.
I was like, «We've got to find an opportunity to do that,» and this seemed like the perfect time to do it. So I did it. I did a lot of takes where I actually say, «Oh, f***,» and I thought in Disney, because it's TV or whatever, that you get one F-bomb. But ultimately, not even one. We don't even get the one, so we had to change it. But basically, that is just my homage to that.
