Moon Knight's Steven joins the fray for team Iron Man in a new Captain America: Civil War video edit. The Disney+ series was the first Marvel Studios title to release in 2022 and introduced the franchise's newest hero in a standalone project, though he promises to feature in a future team-up event somewhere down the line. Captain America: Civil War, meanwhile, hit theaters back in 2016, and was the first non-Avengers movie to include a massive crossover cast of superheroes.
While the principal character in Moon Knight is technically Marc Spector, an American mercenary with dissociative identity disorder who is the avatar for the Egyptian moon god, Khonshu, the show initially belongs to his alter, Steven Grant. The mild-mannered museum worker finds himself thrust into a world of adventure and violence when the psychic barrier that has separated his life from Marc's suddenly ruptures, and it isn't until episode 5 that Steven learns he isn't he primary identity. Initially, he struggles to adjust to the requirements of his new mission, as fighting doesn't really come naturally to him.

Now, a new Captain America: Civil War video edit shared by @Multiverse_KnDm plops the ill-equipped alter into the movie's centerpiece airport fight, and it's soon clear he is in over his head. In costume as Mr. Knight, Steven tries to do his part and take on Black Widow, only to be quickly dispatched and start calling for a general ceasefire. Marc takes over and handles himself better, but the video suddenly cuts to Steven waking up in bed — suggesting a certain Jake Lockley might have finished the battle
