Oscar Isaac and his Moon Knight co-stars watch episode 4 together in a new photo. The latest Marvel series follows Isaac as former CIA agent Marc Spector and gift-shopper Steven Grant, both of whom share a body in a Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID) system. After a near-death experience that saw Marc and Steven granted life from the Egyptian god Khonshu, they serve him as his avatar, allowing them to become the nighttime vigilante Moon Knight. The series, which has taken a lot of inspiration directly from the Marvel comics, has resonated very well with audiences thus far.

Moon Knight episode 4 offered a major twist that completely shifted the narrative audiences had just started catching onto. The episode's Indiana Jones-esque adventure had just started to take its full shape inside Ammit's tomb when Harrow (Ethan Hawke) cornered Marc and shot him twice as Layla (May Calamawy) watched on. The audience was then swept into an all-white hospital full of people Marc and Steven have come across thus far across Moon Knight episode 1 to 3, while Marc completed his stay with Harrow as his psychiatrist and Steven trapped inside a sarcophagus. This unreliability of the narrator has pulled the rug out from under Moon Knight viewers just as they had started to get a good grasp on the series' plot.
