The latest Marvel Studios series has slowly unwound its plot and the circumstances that brought Steven Grant and Marc Spector (Oscar Isaac) together. Moon Knight's latest episode, «Asylum,» provided a surprising answer on how they came to be, and according to Diab, the twists aren't quite over.
«Asylum,» the fifth episode of the Marvel Studios series, tracked Steven and Marc's experiences in the afterlife as they were guided by Taweret, an Egyptian goddess. Their exploration spirals into their childhood memories, where it is learned that Marc created Steven to cope with the traumatic loss of his younger brother and physical attacks from his mother. This offered an explanation for the nature of their relationship and the Dissociative Identity Disorder that the two struggled to come to terms with in the series' earlier episodes.

Over the course of the Marvel Studios series, Isaac has had the daunting task of portraying two polar opposite characters in Steven and Marc. «His performance is unbelievable,» Diab said to Entertainment Weekly. «The difference between Marc and Steven is so huge, yet they're so similar.
