Warning: Spoilers for Moon Knight episode 6
A place on Marvel’s Avengers team could be in the cards for Marc Spector after Disney+’s Moon Knight show. Moon Knight season 1 wrapped up with Marc and Steven seemingly ending their ties to Khonshu, but the post-credits scene confirmed that the Egyptian moon god won’t let his champion go that easily. For one reason or another, it’s only a matter of time before the Fist of Khonshu returns.
Among the many possible avenues that Marvel has the potential to explore with Oscar Isaac’s Moon Knight character is a stint with the Avengers. It would seem that in the aftermath of Avengers: Endgame, Earth’s Mightiest Heroes are currently defunct. Due to all the changes that have taken place in the MCU, it makes sense that when the time comes for them to band together once more, the team will be fundamentally different from the previous iterations of the group. For now, it’s unclear who Marvel will pick to fill out the roster, but all the new superheroes being added in Phase 4 gives the studio plenty of enticing options, including Shang-Chi, Black Knight, She-Hulk, Ms. Marvel, and a few of the Eternals.

One particular Avengers candidate is Marc Spector, though whether or not Marvel will actually align him with the team remains to be seen. Moon Knight showrunner Jeremy Slater previously expressed interest in the possibility and even said that he thinks Moon Knight joining the Avengers is “the goal”. But, he also noted that he doesn’t know for sure if that’s what Marvel Studios intends to do. Though Moon Knight’s kill count in the MCU doesn’t suit a member of the Avengers, his actions in the series don’t go so far
