A new Marvel Knights fan poster imagines a new team up in the MCU featuring Punisher, Moon Knight, Daredevil, and Ghost Rider. Much like Midnight Sons, Marvel Knights was Marvel Comics' way of branding their darker superheroes, although the former became an actual team rather than just an editorial banner. Characters from both Marvel Knights and Midnight Sons have been introduced to the Marvel Cinematic Universe at this point. However, Marvel Studios also briefly used the Marvel Knights banner to categorize certain darker superhero movies, including Punisher: War Zone andGhost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance.
Punisher, Moon Knight, Daredevil, and Ghost Rider have all been featured in Marvel Knights comics and the MCU in one way or another. The most recent MCU TV series on Disney+ introduced audiences to Moon Knight, while Punisher and Daredevil originated in Netflix's Marvel shows. Originally Netflix's Marvel shows were advertised as taking place in the MCU, but they fell out of canon after not having any connections to the wider MCU. Agents of SHIELD was another show directly connected to the MCU in earlier seasons that is now not considered canon anymore. Agents of SHIELD's season 4 premiere was a monumental episode for the series, introducing Robbie Reyes/Ghost Rider.
