iCarly was a smash hit for Paramount+, which is no surprise given how beloved the original series was. In the reboot, Carly winds up reuniting with her friends when she moves back to Seattle after 11 years. Now the fan-favorite cast of characters return to Bushwell Plaza on April 8 for a second season full of friendship, laughter, and social media influencing. The premiere, «iGuess Everyone Just Hates Me Now,» sees Carly reeling from the backlash of her recent relationship faux pas.
We spoke to stars Miranda Cosgrove, Jerry Trainor and Nathan Kress about how it felt to return to set, and which fun guest stars fans will be excited to see.

Screen Rant: Congrats on season two! I'll start with Ms. iCarly herself, Miranda. What did it feel like going into season two? You're stepping on that set knowing how people dug the hell out of season one, what is your attitude going in?
Miranda Cosgrove: I feel like it was lighter and more fun, because the first season, I feel like we had a great time and it was awesome getting to see the set again for the first time and just all the emotions that came with coming back after so long. But I feel like we were all nervous about how people were going to take it, if people were gonna enjoy it. And this time, all the characters' lives were already set up and people know the new characters now. So I feel like, because it's the second season, we just got to have a lot more fun and kind of go wild with it, just be sillier and have a good time.
Nathan, I'm hoping that Freddie's penis parasite has cleared up.
