One of the most notable places you need to visit to bring order back to Hyrule is Korok Forest, a woodland town full of Koroks. There's a lot to know the first time you travel to Korok Forest, including how to get there, so here's a full guide detailing your journey into this unique locale.
Korok Forest is in the middle of the Lost Woods, which is why it's incredibly difficult to get to for the average adventurer. Koroks live inside the Forest, but they allow outsiders like Link as long as they treat the forest with respect. You need to travel to the Korok Forest to get the legendary Master Sword.
Before you do anything else, you should travel to Woodland Tower. This location is directly beside the entrance to Korok Forest, so it's a good starting point to get to since you can see the tower easily from a distance.

The forest itself doesn't feature much light, but it's light enough that you can see your surroundings. There's a lit lantern inside the Lost Woods, travel to it and look for the embers blowing in the wind.
