Minisforum has unveiled its brand new and upgraded B550 Pro Mini PC which comes with discrete dual-slot GPU support.
Minisforum's latest design is an upgraded version of its previous B550 Mini PC which was placed in the Uranus family. The latest version expands the Mini PC by adding a secondary enclosure that is able to mount dual-slot discrete GPUs with up to 300mm length through a PCIe 3.0 x16 link that is in addition to the PCIe 3.0 x4 slot which is also present and can be used to house a single-slot AIC.
As for the rest of the specifications, the AMD B550 motherboard featured on the B550 Pro Mini PC can host up to a Ryzen 7 5800X / 5800X3D CPU. It comes in both barebone and pre-installed types so users can decide if they want to choose something else but it should be an AM4 chip.

Users who want the barebone kit will be open to select from any SFX units that meet the dimensions of the chassis. The standalone DC power supply is also there in case you aren't running a discrete GPU.
Technically, you can get a higher-end chip but it should be noted that Minisforum recommends a Ryzen 7 5800X/X3D chip. Something like a lower-wattage Ryzen 9 5900 or Embedded CPU can also work fine with the Minisforum B550 Pro Mini PC.
