Minecraft players certainly aren't short of creativity. They've shown time and time again that if they're given total creative freedom, they can come up with some truly spectacular stuff. Take for instance, this stunning recreation of Bloodborne's Yharnam, or this YouTuber that managed to create a playable version of The Legend of Zelda with zero mods.
While the focus of today's story may not be as grand, it's certainly one of the more complex creations we've ever seen, as popular Minecraft YouTuber VintageBeef has managed to invent a fully playable trading card game entirely with maps. Uploaded to their YouTube channel and shared with the Minecraft subreddit, VintageBeef has a video detailing exactly how they made their trading card game and how long it took to finally put everything together to make it playable.

To make the actual cards themselves, VintageBeef shows that they go to a deserted area and lay out the design of the card in an area of 16,384 blocks. They then open up a map and the design then displays itself, giving off the impression that you're actually holding a really big trading card. To give the game some more depth, VintageBeef explains they created over 150 cards including player, item, effect, and health cards, all of which took them 10 months to create.
No card game is complete without a place to play though, as VintageBeef then showed off three special arenas which they built in their Minecraft server along with a card store in which they sell the cards in packs to other members (for in-game currency just to be clear).
