Sony announced the March games for PS Plus during the State of Play stream, meaning that they actually managed to get them out the door before the reveal was leaked, for once!
So, what are we getting next month? Let’s check them out!
Going live on 7th March – the first Tuesday of the month – the three games included with every PS Plus subscription are:
Battlefield 2042 was another game in the series to suffer from a rocky launch, but DICE and EA have stuck with their latest large scale multiplayer FPS, making fan-requested changes like bringing back classes and are on the cusp of launching Season 4: Eleventh Hour on 28th February. This will add another new batch of content, map reworks and further refinement. It’s come a long way since release, and getting more people into the game will do it a world of good.
If dungeon crawling is more your scene, then Minecraft Dungeons has a lovely blocky aesthetic to its solid take on the loot-filled action RPG. In our Minecraft Dungeons review, Dom said, “It does a great job of taking the genre’s hooks – the waves of enemies, the pervasive drive for better loot – and makes them palatable and approachable for a wide-ranging audience. It’s perfect family gaming, but if you crank the difficulty up prepare for an epic beatdown, and the epic rewards to go with them.”
