While a few former employees went on to form their own studio, Telltale Games was revived a year later by LCG Entertainment after it acquired many of the publisher's assets. The studio is continuing to develop its typical attention-grabbing episodic games, such as The Expanse: A Telltale Series and the long-awaited sequel to The Wolf Among Us. Recently, the company announced that Telltale Games secured $8 million in funding for its upcoming games. Announcing the news in a post, Telltale Games states that the release of The Wolf Among Us 2 will be pushed to next year. The studio mentions that it's «determined to tell the ongoing story of Bigby and the Fabletown gang,» though the process would require more time. Although a number of points attributed to the decision to delay the game, Telltale Games CEO Jamie Ottilie says the main reason came down to avoiding crunch.
