Atomic Heart developer Mundfish posts an update on the game's subReddit, revealing timelines on fixes the studio is currently working on as well as when players can expect to see them released. Following a lengthy development period, the action RPG Atomic Heart finally made its debut and gave players an experience that many have compared to other games in the genre like BioShock. Alongside weapons and elemental abilities, many have also compared it to Bethesda's modern takes on the Wolfenstein series thanks to its alternative historical world design and technological themes.
Following its launch earlier in February, Mundfish has released multiple updates for the game, attempting to correct a number of issues and bugs. Unfortunately, the launch has been hampered by a number of technical issues, including a ray tracing option missing entirely from the PC version of Atomic Heart. While modders have begun making their own adjustments, Mundfish continues to chip away at ongoing issues with Atomic Heart and has provided an update to fans.
Atomic Heart Releases New Updates
In a State of the Game style post on the Atomic Heart subReddit, Mundfish thanked fans for their patience as the studio addresses a number of issues. Four major issues were mentioned alongside an update as to where the studio currently is in fixing them as well as a rough outline as to when an update could be released.
The first issue mentioned was with the Neuromodule bug, which can prevent players from extracting the resource after finishing off an Atomic Heart boss encounter, causing it to float in the air indefinitely.
