Just a few days after Atomic Heart’s original launch, the developer Mundfish comes with two new patches, bringing significant improvements to the first-person shooter title. Patches 1.3.3.0 and 1.3.3.1 will fix several small yet important bugs that Atomic Heart players faced since its release.
Atomic Heart is a sci-fi shooter from the Cyprus-based game developer Mundfish. It’s set in a utopian version of the Soviet Union where a massive technological revolution took place. The world faced unparalleled prosperity, but then for some reason, the machines went mad and started killing people. The game combines FPS gameplay with RPG elements and allows the player to employ an arsenal of both unique and improvised weapons to crush different enemies. So far, Atomic Heart has been compared to BioShock due to using an alternate history setting and similar gameplay elements. The title has achieved somewhat positive reviews so far, but it has a few bugs to squash.

Now, Mundfish has released a couple of bug-fixing patches for Atomic Heart. They come after a previous patch, which was released soon after the game’s debut. The update notes for patch 1.3.3.0 show improvements on both quests, visuals, audio, gameplay, and user interface. Some highlights include fixes for game-breaking problems during the Ballerina boss fight and one issue that was preventing players from finishing the “A Glass, Darkly” quest. Gameplay fixes include no longer allowing some players to have infinite jumps and a few missing map objects that simply didn’t appear before.
