Playground Games has formally revealed the second large expansion for Forza Horizon 5, the all-new Rally Adventure, along with its release date and info on new cars and map. This expansion will take players to the new region of Sierra Nueva, where they will compete in a dedicated rally career that’s a part of the new Festival site, Horizon Badlands.
In the new Horizon Badlands rally campaign, there are three teams for players to join up with and take on the various new challenges. Sierra Nueva is described as providing “Horizon‘s most thrilling routes ever,” sporting tracks that run across dust trails, sand roads, and winding mountain passes.
There are various sectors of the map, including “dramatic craters, an abandoned quarry and an entirely smashable palm forest.”
The new Forza Horizon 5 – Rally Adventure expansion also sports 10 brand new cars for players to add to their garage, tune to their hearts content, and rip up the Badlands with. This is in addition to the handful of rally monsters that are already in the game’s roster.
Series veterans may recognize that the Rally Adventure expansion does kind of harken back to the first ever Forza Horizon, where its first expansion was also rally-focused. Ever since, off-roading races and rally cars have been featured in every subsequent Forza Horizon release.

The standard turn-by-turn directions throughout the race are even provided to alert drivers to upcoming challenging turns and potential hazards. Thus, fans of rally-focused games like WRCand DiRT should find the expansion some that makes them feel right at home.
