With the recent Pokémon Presents having laid out several new announcements regarding the series' 2023 prospects, support for the most recent mainline games,, are looking to be the franchise's main focus for the year, with most other announcements involving ongoing spinoffs or mobile projects.

With the reveal of 's new DLC,, as well as the announcement of upcoming support, the most recent mainline game has set itself up for continuing support in the same manner as before it, with two DLC packs including new areas and Pokémon. The first,, releases in Fall 2023, while the second,, is set to launch later in the year, in Winter 2023.
