has plenty of complex characters, but Cloak & Dagger may be one of the heroes with the most unique spread of abilities shared across two distinct forms. Both Cloak and Dagger can swap out from each other on the battlefield, freely switching skills at any time. Cloak & Dagger can utilize light and darkness to heal allies and damage foes in equal measure, making them a versatile Strategist.
Strategists are supportive characters alongside damaging Duelists and tank-like Vanguards, but Cloak & Dagger approaches this role differently. While one Strategist like Loki in may have limited mobility, Cloak & Dagger is much faster than you may expect. This makes the character one of the most elusive in the game, using movement abilities to stay out of an opponent's grasp.
The signature ability of Cloak & Dagger is the skill to switch between two different move sets freely without any cooldown. You begin a match as Dagger, but you can swap to Cloak at any time without, or vice versa. You can switch between either form as often as you would like, with each ability of both characters mirroring the other, sharing recovery times on skills that have the same input.
Marvel Rivals should lean into its unique map mechanics as it continues to develop and enhance to its barebones launch map pool and locations.
You need to understand which abilities of Dagger match the abilities of Cloak to know which moves reflect each other.
