Marvel Studios revealed a brand new trailer for its upcoming Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness during the Superbowl on February 13, 2022. The event has long been known for its impressive and often remarkable advertisements. Marvel carried on this tradition with a big premiere.
The trailer offers fans their first real look at Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. This comes in the wake of a post-credits scene in Spider-Man: No Way Home which featured a short teaser for the movie. The trailer on the other hand gives a little bit more insight into what Doctor Strange, Wanda Maximoff, and everybody else will be getting up to in the film.

While there are many familiar faces in the trailer, the big surprise seems to be the return of Patrick Stewart as Professor X. The trailer also shows that Chiwetel Ejiofor will be returning as Baron Mordo and that Xochitl Gomez will be debuting as America Chavez.
"Every night, I dream the same dream," Doctor Strange says in the trailer. “Then the nightmare begins." This of course is a reference to the multiverse falling apart on account of Doctor Strange casting a poorly conceived spell in Spider-Man: No Way Home. How exactly this plot point will unravel in the movie remains unclear, but the spell will surely have significant ramifications.
Marvel revealed a poster for the film alongside the trailer.
