Sony clearly believes LEGO Horizon Adventures has the potential to significantly grow the popularity of Guerrilla’s franchise, because it’s giving the game a surprisingly big marketing push.
A new trailer, featuring the song Tubthumping by British band Chumbawamba, is running in movie theatres and on television. It’s only a 30-second spot, but it’s alarmingly well produced, with Aloy’s voice actor Ashly Burch really relishing this alternative take on the role.
Unlike most first-party PS5 games, this will release on PC and Nintendo Switch on day one, a clear indication that Sony’s willing to look outside its own ecosystem in order to grow its brands.

It’ll be interesting to see how this performs. We were really impressed with the game in a recent hands on and LEGO is obviously eternally alluring, but we do wonder whether Horizon has a broad enough brand appeal to attract an entire new set of fans to this title.

I hope this does well. Be nice to see Playstation do more games aimed at families. Our whole family has loved playing Astro bot this last few weeks, and I think we'll be picking this up. Me an my girlfriend love Horizon and I think linking with lego is a great idea
