A Korean news outlet has reported once again that the Galaxy S23 FE is going to release with Exynos 2200 chipset under the hood and will be released in the second half of 2023. And while we already know these details, the outlet goes into detail and talks about the possible price of Samsung's affordable flagship as well.
The outlet reports that the Galaxy S23 FE is going to cost 800,000 South Korean won, which roughly converts to $609. This is perhaps one of the most compelling prices for a flagship-level device. Not just that, this would put the fan edition almost $200 cheaper than the base Galaxy S23 which starts at $800.
Now, considering how the Fan Edition devices are usually affordable, the price makes sense. Honestly, if the Galaxy S23 FE does end up costing this much, it would not matter what chipset it is packing. Sure, the Exynos 2200 is known for its performance issues, but we talk about that in light of the flagship devices, not mid-range ones.
