Despite few updates since its reveal at The Game Awards 2022, FromSoftware’s Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon is undoubtedly one of this year’s biggest games. After its rating in South Korea and the key art leaked, one leaker teased a new trailer on April 28th. However, sources speaking to Insider-Gaming’s Tom Henderson revealed that the mech title would launch on August 25th.
It’s interesting since sources told Exputer’s eXtas1s, who leaked the Baten Kaitos 1 and 2 HD Remaster, that it would launch sometime between September and October. Henderson’s sources also suggested that an announcement would come soon, though it’s not “100 percent confirmed.” As such, the title could still appear at Summer Game Fest on June 8th, as some have speculated.
Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon is coming to Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5 and PC. Unlike the developer’s previous titles, it’s not a Soulsborne-style game, though it still promises a “stiff challenge” with “extremely dynamic” boss battles. Stay tuned for more updates in the meantime.
