Almost two years ago, we reported that Samsung could be working on a new foldable tablet. At that time, it was reported that it would release in the first half of 2022, but that never happened. The tablet was supposed to be called Galaxy Z Tab or Galaxy Z Fold Tab, but a new tip from a renowned tipster gives us more information on what we could expect later this year at the Galaxy Unpacked.
Based on a well-known tip from Revegnus, Samsung is working on a Galaxy Z Tab, a new foldable tablet that will launch alongside Galaxy Tab S9 later this year. This is not the first time we hear of a third foldable device, as we have only recently talked about how Samsung could show a third foldable later this year. Well, it seems like we are finally getting a folding tablet.

Whether or not we are getting a full-blown release or a reveal, I am more than happy to see a foldable form factor coming to larger screens. It was about time that we had something like this. Yes, Asus does have a foldable laptop, but that offers a 17-inch display, something that is not ideal for everyone. A 10 or even a 12-inch foldable Galaxy Z Tab makes a lot of sense for those who want to have a big screen at their disposal whenever they need one.
Sadly, at the moment, we have little to no information about the Galaxy Z Tab or how it could end up looking. However, based on a rumor from two years ago, this is what you could expect the device to look like.
