Regardless of your stance on plundering graves, whether your anaconda does or not, Lara Croft and Nicki Minaj are coming to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2.0. It's the kind of straightforward, surreal video game news we enjoy indulging in, and it's just a small part of what's in store for Call of Duty fans, with Season 5 rolling out on 2nd August.
Lara Croft of Tomb Raider fame is officially done just surviving, getting another gritty reboot, this time into the military. The legendary treasure hunter will arrive in a new Operator bundle in the mid-season.
Nicki Minaj, aside from being a triple-platinum mega-star, is also the most-followed rapper on Instagram, which we found mildly interesting; the Super Bass star has amassed more than 200 million adoring fans on that platform alone. Minaj joins less-followed rappers Snoop Dogg and 21 Savage as playable characters, part of Call of Duty's 50 Years of Hip Hop celebration.
