NeoCore games has unveiled Legion IX, a brand-new expansion for King Arthur: Knight’s Tale. Priced at $19.99 and launching in early 2024, Legion IX introduces new heroes, adversaries, combat mechanics, and an expanded party size to enhance gameplay.
In Legion IX, players will confront a fresh threat as the Roman Ninth Legion discovers a route to the mystical island of Avalon, preparing for an impending invasion. The narrative unfolds through the perspective of a Ninth Legion tribune, guiding players to explore the remains of a Roman colony in Avalon and unravel the secrets of the Lady of the Lake.
King Arthur: Knight’s Tale is a dark fantasy tactics game featuring a blend of turn-based tactical combat along with many of the trappings of character centric RPGs. Players take on the role of Sir Mordred, the nemesis of King Arthur, brought back to life by the Lady of the Lake after a fateful battle with King Arthur resulted in the deaths of both combatants. Charged by the Lady of the Lake to finish the job, players must defeat King Arthur for good while engaging in moral choices, hero management, and the rebuilding of Camelot.
Currently available on Steam for PC, King Arthur: Knight’s Tale will also launch on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on February 22, 2024.
